Re: Plugin: pawUsers

Hi,
I am still using this plugin and are very happy so far.

The only question I have:
- How can I change the "redirect" after login ?
At the moment, after login the user is back to the homepage. I would like to change this to a different page.

Have found this:

// BUILD FORMs
    $redirects = pawu_get_conf("redirect_pages");
    switch($action){
        case "login":
            $form = array("user" => "", "remember" => "");        // ALL FORM VALUES
            $inputs = array("user", "password", "remember");    // ALL FORM FIELDS
            $config = array(
                "title" => __("Login"), // THE FORM TITLE
                "button" => __("Login"), // THE SUBMIT BUTTON VALUE
                "redirect"    => $redirects["login"]                // THE REDIRECT VALUE
            );
            break;

BUT, where to change.

Re: Plugin: pawUsers

Hi, i'm using PHP 5.3 and clear wolf 8.2

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '[' in D:\!USBWebserver\root\8_5\wolfcms\wolf\plugins\paw_users\system\class.fields.php on line 352
$config = array_keys($config)[0];

Who can help me?

PHP 5.3 does not support array dereferencing, you need PHP 5.4 for that.

Re: Plugin: pawUsers

Hello,

I really apologize for my long abstinence, 2016 was a shitty year. But back to topic.

I'm currently working on a new release for the pawUsers plugin and my first steps were to improve the design. (The old Backend VS. The new Backend). But I'm also working on more security, functions and a better work-flow with the system in General.

Please let me know, if you have any suggestion for improvement! Thanks.

My ToDo List

Registration Codes

Besides an "open" and "closed" registration you can now "restrict" the public registration. So the user needs an "invite" (or rather: "register code") to complete the respective form and to create an new account.

Avatars and User Data

An own avatar system (with an JS-Uploader/Cutter tool) besides the Gravatar API. And the user data (User Meta / User Fields) system will also expanded.

Other Stuff

  • Form Builder to create own frontend profiles and account pages.

  • Compatibility with PHP version 5.3.7 and later.

  • Improved design (for the Default, Wint and Fox themes).

  • Improved frontend and backend observer.

  • Improved security (protect against bruteforce / force-login attempts).

  • Improved class and function structure (for a better Work-Flow).

Again, sorry for waiting and thanks for your help,
SamBrishes.

PS.: I promise, that the next release is fully compatible with PHP 5.3.7! (Sorry for that...)

Hi Sam - Welcome to 2017! Hope it's already looking brighter.  cool

Thanks for the update on "pawUsers" - looking great! I'm sure this will be valuable for those using Wolf to build communities of users.

Thanks. It would be awesome if more would use the Wolf CMS, and I hope that this plugin can achieve something in this direction. ^^
