Wolf CMS nominated: Most Promising Open Source Project
Thanks to everyone who has nominated us for the Packt Awards!
Packt Publishing has just announced that Wolf CMS is one of the five nominees in the “Most Promising Open Source Project” category of the 2010 Open Source Awards.
We’ve done it people!
In little over a year, this project has gone from zero to over 11,000 downloads for the stable releases alone!
Apart from this amazing growth we’ve also seen:
- lots of improvements to the software,
- a steadily growing community,
- the introduction of a brand new site,
- two more people on the core team,
- a growing documentation wiki,
- a brand new plugin repository and
- more and more community contributed plugins!
The next phase of the awards is the actual voting. Besides a panel of judges, the community at large will also be able to vote on their favorite candidate starting September 27th.
Of course we’re hoping you’ll cast your vote for Wolf CMS and help us win.
